As I began the morning checking my blog as I always do, I noticed a comment posted on one of my pages that read, “You need to participate in a contest for among the finest blogs on the web. I’ll advocate this web site, Aniela”. Needless to say, this got my attention. I was awakened from the power of a kind word. While basking in the glory of the comment, I was reminded of this awesome power we all possess which can literally change someone’s life in a New York minute…and it’s right on the tip of our tongues. The lesson here for me is to start spitting it out.

The feeling received from a heartfelt compliment or a kind word has the potential of igniting a firestorm of confidence and energy within that you can’t bring on yourself. It’s as if the power of God is being leveraged through a kind word.

The next time you think you can’t make a difference, think about this…with simply a kind word, you have the power right here and now to affect hundreds of lives. Ironically, in most cases, you’ll never directly taste its fruit, but make no mistake…the universe stays in balance as it pays dividends. You’ll get what you give.

My message to Aniela who left the comment: Thanks for the power, I will pass it on.
