You Can’t Chase A Dream If You Don’t Have One.

You can’t chase a dream if you don’t have one. As we dream, a natural process awakens as “The Law of Attraction” begins to unfold. This attraction stimulates the imagination fueling the desire as the chase begins. As the excitement builds, the subconscious takes over and continues to attract everything needed to draw you closer to your dreams.

Case in point: Have you ever started thinking about a friend, when out of the blue the phone rings, and there he is…or maybe you run into her at the mall?

Have you ever bought a car you thought was so unique only to see it going down the road every time you look? Your subconscious mind is automatically attracted to whatever is relevant to your most dominant thought.

I promise you…if you start following a dream or two, the universe will cooperate in giving what you need at the time needed. How many times have you been in a situation where you have received exactly what was required at the precise time it was needed. We’ve all used the phrase, “just what the doctor ordered.”

Some dreams do fizzle out for one reason or another, but that’s not the point. What’s important to remember is the process is the same…it starts with a dream. If the dream is worth pursuing, the attraction will self-perpetuate as the doors of opportunity start to open. Your job is to start walking through them.

The sad truth is many believe they’re too busy or sophisticated to dream, or feel it should be relegated to children. It is true children have no trouble whatsoever dreaming…dreaming big! They dream about what they want to be when they grow up, and they’re not dreaming about working at McDonalds. They’re dreaming about becoming movie stars and athletes, firefighters, and astronauts…you name it. The list goes on and on. Those children who grow up to become their dreams never forgot the process of keeping those dreams alive.

No matter who or how old you are, you have not lost your ability to dream. What the hell…start acting a little childlike and let your imagination run wild. Take the long way home. Wake up an hour early with a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise. Take some time to actually play with your kids on their level, or go for a walk in the park and before too long, you won’t be embarrassed to dream once again. Who knows where it will lead …Let the chase begin!

This is so true – we should never get too old or too busy to dream!

Yes Bill we both are dreamers as well as doers…nice combination don’t you think? Thanks for leaving a comment…hope I’m not coming across as arrogant. I’m writing things we all already know…it’s just good to take a couple of moments from time to time to reflect on them…that’s all.

Hope the dream chasing is going well in the old Windy City. A little under the weather last couple of days…I’ll be back to my old self before you know it.

    Great video!
Anyway, what you say is so true. First, about thinking about people. I do that ALL THE TIME. I will not think or see someone for a long time then all of a sudden they pop up in my mind and I can almost guarantee I will see or hear from them within 3 days. Happens to me with patients as well not just friends. Secondly, that imagination theory that you talk about is also so very real. I can give you a dozen stories of that happening to me. Steve calls it “magical thinking” but I don’t think it is. I truly believe it.
Thank you for sending this one to me. It confirms what I’ve been thinking about. It’s nice to hear that it happens to others also.
